Ivanhoe Mines eyes higher copper recovery with pulsed-power investment
Ivanhoe Mines says it is investing in pulsed power and intends to sign a collaboration agreement to investigate and develop applications for pulsed-power technology in the mining sector, Kallanish reports.
The British Columbia-based company plans to begin a test programme at its Kamoa-Kakula copper mine complex in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to use pulsed power to improve copper recoveries.
