Further battery investments to come in Turkey
The acceleration of the transformation to electric vehicles in the automotive sector has also stimulated battery investments in Turkey, Kallanish reports.
Koç Holding took action to establish a battery production facility in Manisa, which was allocated to German Volkswagen for a factory investment that has not come to fruition. Kalyon Holding also established a company in Istanbul to produce batteries.
