European imports of Russian copper slump in August

EU imports of Russian refined copper amounted to 3,303 tonnes in August, down 86% compared to the same month last year and were 32% lower month-on-month, according to Eurostat. The latest EU official data shows the bulk of Russian refined copper volumes in August was sent to the Netherlands, Italy and Spain.  Italian imports fell by 46% on-month to 1,207 t.
