EU countries want ban on Russian copper imports
At least four EU countries - Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Latvia and Estonia – have proposed that Brussels ban the import of copper, aluminium and ferrous scrap from Russia, Kallanish notes.
Such a proposal was presented at a meeting of the European Union Environment Council held on Monday, the Lithuanian Ministry of Environment says.
