European carmakers formed cartel to delay lower emission development: EC

The European Commission said on Thursday that Daimler, BMW and Volkswagen Group formed a cartel to delay the development of cleaner, lower emission cars, Kallanish reports The antitrust watchdog issued the companies with a combined fine of €875 million (1.03 billion).
