Construction begins at Plug Power's $290m green hydrogen plant in NY
Construction is underway in western New York state on what has been called the largest green hydrogen production plant in North America, Kallanish reports.
The $290 million plant by Plug Power will produce 45 tonnes/day of green hydrogen for on-road and off-road uses. It is located in the town of Alabama, east of Buffalo in Genesee County. The plant will create about 68 full-time jobs when it begins operations.
