COBALT: Jervois hires Rio Tinto executive to head Idaho project
Australia-based Jervois Mining Ltd is naming a former Rio Tinto executive to oversee its developing Idaho cobalt project, Kallanish reports.
Matthew Lengerich has been named executive general manager-mining. He will also fill the role of acting GM-Idaho Cobalt Operations through construction and expected commissioning in second half of 2022. He will be based in Idaho, although he will supervise all of Jervois’ mining activities globally.
