China loads 34.9 GWh NEV batteries in August
A total of 34.9 gigawatt-hours of power batteries were loaded in August in China, an on-year increase of 25.7% and an on-month increase of 8.2%, Kallanish learns from China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance.
The installations were led by lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, which accounted for 24.1 GWh or 69% of the total volume. This is an increase of 39.7% compared to August 2022 and of 11% compared to July.
