Avtovaz to start EV mass production in H1 2024
Serial production of Lada e-Largus electric vehicle by Russia's Lada will begin in the first half of 2024, says company president Maxim Sokolov at parliamentary hearings in the Federation Council this week.
According to Sokolov, the car will be produced at a plant in Izhevsk. “The model is the only highly localised EV in the country, while other projects in this area are related to large-scale assembly,” he claims.
