ANZ holds nickel price forecast at $18,000/t
ANZ Research believes $16,000/tonne for nickel prices is unsustainable over the medium term, and sees a rebound in coming months, Kallanish notes from its note.
The research house sees the most likely outlook to be an oversupplied nickel market over the next two to three years, but a tighter market is not out of the question. It opines the latter possibility would provide some support to prices.
