Read the Kallanish South East Asia Report - Week 50, published 13th December 2021. This is a weekly subscription report analysing production, flats, longs, semis, and raw materials for the region. 

Flats: Vietnamese buyers are awaiting domestic producer Formosa Ha Tinh Steel (FHS) to announce domestic prices for its new allocations. 

Longs: Southeast Asian import markets for wire rod and rebar are quiet.

Semis: Billet importers were passive in East Asia during the past week due to weak regional rebar markets.

Raw Materials: The Taiwanese scrap market saw a hike early last week, but then lost all gains.
