ZMP increases stainless steel production
Russia’s Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant (ZMP) increased stainless steel production in 2021 by 13% on-year to 76,551 tonnes, Kallanish notes. Deliveries of marketable products last year were up 9% to 37,124t.
ZMP occupies a leading position among the producers of stainless steel long products in Russia, with a share in the domestic market of 25.6%, according to national special steel association USSA.
