ZMP expands range of corrosion-resistant steel
Russia’s Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant (ZMP) continues to implement its programme for modernisation and technical re-equipment, aimed at producing new steel grades, Kallanish notes.
The plant is developing technology for production of ferrite-austenitic corrosion-resistant steel of the Super Duplex 25Cr type, and austenitic non-magnetic corrosion-resistant steel of the Staballoy AG17 type, it says.
