Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant increases steel production
Russia’s Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant (ZMP) increased steel production in February, by 3% over January to 4,951 tonnes, Kallanish notes.
The enterprise delivered 2,903t of products to the warehouse, an increase by 27% versus January. Production targets were exceeded in the ESPC-2 and ESPC-3 shops, by 2.4% and 6.8% respectively. Stainless nickel-containing steels and alloys accounted for a significant share in the total volume.
