Zenith starts fourth steel cord plant construction
Zenith Huaian has started the construction of the fourth steel cord production branch, the No.6 plant in Huaiyin District, Huaian, on 1 July. This company is advancing to establish 1.5 million tonnes/year of ultra-high strength steel cord and bead wire capacity there, Kallanish notes.
The capacity of this No.6 plant is 280,000 t/y, which is expected to be operational by May 2025.
