Zekelman to build new $150 million HSS mill
North American tube producer Zekelman Industries plans to build a new $150 million continuous ERW mill – the largest in the world, it says – by September 2021.
The new mill will be able to produce hollow structural sections ranging from 8-22 inches square, Kallanish understands. Zekelman says this “... will be the first time ERW sections above 16-inches square will be available domestically.”
