Zaporizhstal increases steel output, pig iron falls

Ukrainian flat steel producer Zaporizhstal, partially owned by Metinvest, increased steel output in January-November. The enterprise produced 3.5 million tonnes of crude steel, up by 3.2% on-year, Kallanish notes. Pig iron production was down 1.8% to 4mt but rolled products output rose 3.1% to 3mt.
