Zaporizhstal increases first-half steel, pig iron output
Ukrainian flat steel producer Zaporizhstal, partially owned by Metinvest, increased crude steel production in June, the company says.
It produced 159,400 tonnes of crude steel, up 29% on-year, Kallanish notes. Pig iron output also increased, by 35.5% to 199,100t, while rolled steel production was up 81.2% to 131,900t.
