Yemen propels Turkish rebar exports on growth streak
Turkish rebar exports grew for a fourth consecutive month in May, continuing their rebound since February. They soared 50.7% year-on-year in May to 298,336 tonnes.
They were also up month-on-month, from 273,455t in April.
The average recorded March price was $588/tonne, versus $673/t in May 2023 and $589/t in April, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
