Yangjiang Hongwang trials hot rolling and pickling line
Yangjiang Hongwang, a subsidiary of Hongwang Group, has officially put its continuous hot rolling and pickling line into pilot production, Kallanish notes.
The trial production is half a month behind the original schedule. With a capacity of 500,000 tonnes/year, output will cover 2E products with a thickness of 1.15-3mm. These will mainly be provided as feedstock to Yangjiang Hongwang and Zhaoqing Hongwnag’s continuous annealing and pickling lines.
The company’s 20-high cold rolling and continuous annealing and pickling line has not yet been put into operation, falling behind the original schedule. The two production lines share a total investment of CNY 1.1 billion ($164.5 million).
Yangjian Hongwang plans to realise the centralised control of the whole plant and the unmanned operation of the production lines.
