Worthington, Baosteel venture licences ArcelorMittal tailored blank technology
A joint venture led by Worthington Steel is licencing ArcelorMittal (AM) technology to produce hot formed tailored blanks, Kallanish reads in a statement from the Columbus, Ohio-based processor.
TWB has signed a licencing agreement with ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks for use in its ablation process. Integrating the technology expands TWB’s North American capabilities, making it one of two companies on the continent to offer ablation.
