Worldsteel forecasts 2024 rebound in US steel demand
Steel demand in the US is projected to decline slightly this year, but then recover and grow over the next year, Kallanish assesses from the latest short-range outlook published by the World Steel Economics Committee.
The committee believes that overall US steel demand will fall by 1.1% in 2023, but fully recover and then grow by 1.6% in 2024.
