Welspun secures large order for Keystone XL pipeline
Little Rock, Arkansas’ Welspun Tubular has received an order for more than 1 million feet of 36-inch line pipe for the Keystone XL pipeline, according to a company release.
The order from TC Energy - formerly TransCanada - will be fulfilled through early 2021.
Financial details were not disclosed, though Kallanish calculates that 1 million feet of 36-inch pipe, assuming a standard wall and a weight per foot of 212.57 pounds, would equal an order…
