Warrior Met to relaunch Blue Creek mining project
US metallurgical coal supplier Warrior Met Coal will relaunch the development of its Blue Creek mining project located in Alabama, Kallanish reports.
In an update, Warrior announced the restart of development of its Blue Creek longwall mine after the project was delayed due to Covid-19. According to the company, strong market conditions have allowed for the resumption of development at the cost of $650-700 million over the next five years.
