Votorantim's long steel performance dips in second quarter
Brazil-based Votorantim’s long steel sales volumes and net revenue decreased year-on-year in the second quarter, Kallanish learns from the company's operating results.
Net revenue in Argentina and Colombia decreased by -16% and -30%, respectively, compared to the same period of 2019, mainly due to the lower sales volume. This was partially offset by higher prices in both countries, Votorantim says.
