Volvo breaks ground on first US plant
Swedish car maker Volvo has broken ground on its flagship $500m factory in the US, Kallanish learns from a company statement.
The factory, Volvo’s first in the US, is slated to begin production in late 2018 at a rate of 100,000 automobiles/year in Berkeley County, South Carolina.
