Former Volkswagen Russia plant to restart in August
Volkswagen’s former Russia plant in Kaluga, which now belongs to the Russian AGR automotive group, along with the former Hyundai site in St. Petersburg, is scheduled to be restarted on 1 August, the factory’s trade union says.
In the first stage, more than 500 workers will be employed at the plant in three shifts. If the project to restart the plant goes well, the number of employees will be significantly increased by November.
