Volkswagen suspends Polish production amid Ukraine supply disruptions
Volkswagen will suspend production at its Polish plants in Poznan and Wrzesna from 10 March due to supply chain disruption as a result of the war in Ukraine.
Crisis teams at VW Hanover and VW Poznan are working on finding alternative sources of supply, the firm tells Kallanish. Among the input materials experiencing shortages are wiring harnesses, which are sourced from Ukraine.
