Vietnamese HRC market quietens
Vietnam’s hot rolled coil import market is moving sideways, Kallanish notes. Activity is quiet and market sources say they did not hear of bookings at the end of last week.
An aggressive trader is inviting bids for Indian-origin SAE 1006 2mm and up thickness HRC at only $605/tonne cfr Vietnam. But other suppliers are offering Indian SAE 1006 HRC at $610-615/t cfr Vietnam. Bids for Indian HRC are at $600/t cfr, a southern Vietnam trader says.
