Vallourec details path to decarbonisation
French pipemaker Vallourec intends to further increase its usage of non-carbon-based electricity. Following the gradual shutdown of Vallourec’s supplier’s coal plant in Ohio and the switch to a nuclear power plant, the firm sourced 81% of energy from renewables and nuclear in 2019 versus 68% in 2018.
