Vale, US SEC settle over Brumadinho disclosures
Brazil’s Vale says it has entered into an agreement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to end the lawsuit against the miner related to its market disclosures violating US securities laws.
The case was focused on disclosures related to dam safety management before the tragic accident in Brumadinho, Minas Gerais State in January 2019, Kallanish notes.
