Brazilian miner Vale has inked two more memorandums of understanding in the Gulf Cooperation Council, to produce hot-briquetted iron using natural gas.
The MoUs coincide with Vale’s agreement made with Saudi Arabia's National Industrial Development Center (NIDC) to set up a pelletising plant (see Kallanish passim). This will be part of the development of a “mega hub” at Ras Al Khair Industrial City, the miner says.
