Usiminas posts pre-pandemic production levels in October
Brazilian steelmaker Usiminas posted pre-coronavirus levels for production and sales in October.
In a note seen by Kallanish, the company explains that October production of rolled products reached 370,500 tonnes, the highest level since March when the pandemic started hitting the market.
In terms of sales of finished products, in October these reached 366,000t, again the highest level since March and 7.1% above the average monthly level registered during 2019.
