Usiminas mulls BF shut-down amid challenging market: cfo
Brazilian steelmaker Usiminas is considering temporarily halting one of its smaller blast furnaces, Kallanish notes. The company says that domestic demand is falling, while increased imports are having a negative impact on its business.
