Usiminas begins blast furnace No. 3 restart
Brazilian steelmaker Usiminas says it is working to restart blast furnace number 3 (BF3) at its Ipatinga plant in Minas Gerais state. The reheating and equipment start-up will generate noise and emissions but will be under constant monitoring.
