US Steel 4-year contract ratified by USW
United Steelworkers labour union members have ratified a contract with US Steel, learns Kallanish.
Steelworkers from 13 local unions, representing 11,000 US Steel employees, ratified the four-year contract. The new contract includes a lump sum bonus, improved wages of more than 20% over its term, increases to pensions, an additional paid holiday, and improvements to the retiree and current employee healthcare package.
