US sheet prices hold for second consecutive week
The prices for US hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils are staying put, sources tell Kallanish.
This week the price of hot-rolled coil remains $960-$1,000/short ton, and cold-rolled coil ranges from $1,500-$1,600/st. All prices are ex-works domestic.
“Cold-rolled coil has some customers willing to pay and others not. Seems very customer-specific,” a source at one top-tier mill tells Kallanish.
