US sheet prices drop further
Sheet prices continue their downward slide in the US market, with uncertainty at all levels as to how far down they will go.
Hot rolled coil prices have dropped further and are now down to $1,440-1,520/short ton, ex-works domestic mill. Prices are down from $1,530-1,560/st at the end of 2021 and down from 2021’s peak of $1,960/st in early September.
