Sheet prices drop in US

Hot- and cold-rolled coil prices are starting to ease in the US, according to multiple sources across a variety of roles in the steel industry, Kallanish learns. Last week, HRC averaged roughly $1,450/short ton, with the high going up to $1,500/st. This week the range has decreased to $1,400-1,450/st. Cold-rolled prices ranged from $1,840-1,850/st, in contrast to this week, with the low going as far down as $1,800/st. The high holds at $1,850/st. All prices are eā€¦
