US rigs rise by 2, Canada up 4

Both the US and Canadian rig counts advanced in the week ended 28 May, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.  The US rig count increased by two net rigs to 457, up 156 from the equivalent weekly count in 2020.  Rigs geared for oil production increased by three, and rigs geared for natural gas production fell by one.  Texas led the notable net gains by state with four, while Pennsylvania led the losses with two.  The Can…
