US rigs rise by 1, Canada down 11
The US rig count posted a minor increase while the Canadian count fell by double-digits in the week ended 21 February, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count increased by one net rig to 791, down 256 from last year’s equivalent weely count.
The rig gained by the US was geared for oil production. There was no change in the number of rigs geared for natural gas production.
