US rigs increase by 5, Canada up 13
Both the US and Canadian rig counts increased in the week ending 16 July, Kallanish learns from energy services firm Baker Hughes.
The US rig count increased by five net rigs to 484, up 231 on-year.
Rigs geared for oil production increased by two, while rigs geared for gas production increased by three.
Wyoming led the notable net gains by state with three, while Texas led the net losses with two.
The Canadian count, meanwhile, increased by 13…
