US rigs hold steady, Canada falls by 2
The US rig count remained unchanged while the Canadian count posted a minor loss in the week ended 14 February, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US count held firm at 790, down 261 from last year’s equivalent weekly count.
Rigs geared for oil production rose by two, while the US lost one rig geared for natural gas production and one classified as miscellaneous.
