US rigs fall by 73, Canada down 5
Both the US and Canadian rig counts again dropped in the week ended 17 April, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count fell by 73 net rigs to 529, down 483 from last year’s equivalent weekly count.
Rigs geared for oil production fell by 66, while rigs geared for natural gas production fell by seven.
