US rigs fall by 62, Canada down 6
Both the US and Canadian rig counts again declined in the week ended 9 April, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count fell by 62 net rigs to 602, down 420 from the equivalent weekly count last year.
Rigs geared for oil production fell by 58, while rigs geared for natural gas production fell by four.
