US rigs fall by 4, Canada up 3
The US and Canadian rig counts moved in nearly equal but opposite directions in the week ended 31 January, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count fell by four net rigs to 790, down 255 from the equivalent count last year.
Rigs geared for oil production fell by one, while rigs geared for natural gas production fell by three.
