US rigs fall by 17, Canada up 1
The US rig count continued to slide in the week ended 5 June, while the Canadian rig count posted a slight uptick, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count fell by 17 net rigs to 284, down 691 from last year.
Rigs geared for oil production fell by 16, while rigs geared for natural gas production fell by one.
