US rigs fall by 1, Canada down 4
Both the US and Canadian rig counts took another slide in the week ended 26 June, Kallanish learns from energy services firm Baker Hughes.
The US rig count fell by one net rig to 265, down 702 from last year.
Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming all lost one rig apiece, partially offset by gains of one in Texas and Oklahoma.
The one lost rig was geared for oil production. There was no change in the number of rigs geared for natural gas production.…
