US rigs fall by 1, Canada down 28
Both the US and Canadian rig counts decreased in the week ended 13 March, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count fell by one net rig to 792, down 234 from last year.
Rigs geared for oil production increased by one, while rigs geared for natural gas production fell by two.
Louisiana led the notable net losses by state with five, while Texas led the net gains with four.
