US rigs fall by 1, Canada down 25
Both the US and Canadian rig counts swung negative in the week ended 12 March, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count fell by one net rig to 402, down 390 from the equivalent count last year.
The US lost one net rig geared for oil production. Rigs geared for natural gas production were unchanged on-week.
Ohio led the notable net gains with two, and Pennsylvania led the notable net losses with two.
